BR (background removed) editions often seem simple enough on face value. Behind the scenes, a lot happens. Backgrounds are cut away by hand, stitch by stitch to produce as smooth a result as possible. Colours are then reviewed for a second time to ensure that each one still adds value and then the production happens. In every respect, where a BR is made, more work goes into it than the original. 

This is why BR are weighed carefully. There were enough calls for BR editions of the Chrissabug works that the first two are out, with a third expected shortly. The full scale vs Miniautre were weighed with a poll on the Facebook Fan Group which showed strongest support for the original pieces so these were the ones selected to undergo a BR. Careful monitoring will then happen to guage the popularity of these designs against the original full coverage. If popularity in comparison prove low, then no further BR will be made, but if they are just as popular or more popular than full coverage works then more will be done. So we are in an important time for the BR editions of Chrissabug!
