Ashley Cassaday

Ashley is a digital illustrator, educator, and designer based out of her hometown of Dallas/Fort-Worth Texas. Inspired by the world of fantasy, fae, and flora, she has developed a love for telling stories through mythical and and romantic fictional characters, where she aims to portray the juxtaposition seen in the fine line between elements of beauty and the unhinged world of darker fantasy.

Ashley recently finished working in collaboration with Llewellyn Worldwide, and spiritualist author and tarot creator Pamela Chen, to create the Steampunk Faerie Tarot, a deck inspired by the Victorian themes of steampunk fantasy with the world of fae and faerie. On the side, Ashley also is working on her Zodiac Fae illustration series, and a menagerie of other passion projects.

Ashley has also used her experience in art education to help budding artists grow both their technical, and entrepreneurial skills, at events such as the Fantasy Art Workshop: Illustration Intensive.

Ashley graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Drawing, where she originally formed a concentration in character design and illustration for the game and entertainment industry.

Now pursuing her dreams as an independent artist and freelancer, Ashley attends conventions around America to sell and showcase her work.
